when babys got a booboo

So I got my first bee sting hurt like a bitch! but its really not as bad as most people make it out to be i guess it all depends on your level of pain and how much you can take. for me it hurt for about 30 minuntes and then i had completely forgot i got stung. when i think back i had never gotten a bee sting as a little girl or growing up my poor baby on the other hand has alreadly had two stings the first he picked up a dead bee on the floor and the second he stepped on a dead bee. I think the reason my grandma has so many is because she has like 10 fruit trees in her yard. but thank god its cold out now so no more bees but if you ever do get stung it does burn and these bandaids are freakin amazing they have cooling gel inside its good for burns and cuts. especially for my little baby he wont keep it on for long but anything to relieve his pain. i think i freaked out more than my little one did. i called joe n the verge of a panic attack. he still teases me to this day. unfortunatley these damn bandaids are really hard to find they dont have them everywhere which is ashame i guess because they are to pricey for the average person who would rather pay a few bucks for a large pack of regular bandaids but if ya like comfort and being spoiled and dont mind the extra cost of it i say these are good for you. another thing i thought was interesting while looking up treatments was that the reason the bee had stung me for no reason was because of my pregnancy. with my bodys hormones out of wack the extra sweat i produce caused me to appear sweeter to the bee making him think i was food but when i started moving it starled him and he stung me in self defense. crazy huh? And here are some tips if you or your little one get stung

1. Take the stinger out as soon as possible the longer it stays in the more venom enters.

2. Wash the area with soap and water.

3. Apply a ice pack to reduce the swelling.

4. Take benadryl and pain reliver.

5. If you dont know if you or your child is allergic keep an eye out for allergic reactions such as wheezing or trouble breathing in which case call 911 immediately because without treatment or if treatment is no reached in time it could lead to death.
